Originally from Guadeloupe, Nathanaël Philbert exhibited for the first time at 18, then spent nearly ten years in entrepreneurship. In May 2024, a fire destroyed the agency he had built. He restarts, in New York and then in Bali, where he sets up his studio. REBIRTH stems from this restart. His painting follows this movement: to paint, to cover, to break, to resume on the same surface.
