Introduction to Sashiko embroidery to make a small pouch with the Seigaiha motif in Paris. Japanese Sashiko embroidery Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery inspired by the repurposing of used textiles. Originally, it is practiced on indigo fabric with a white thread. Sashiko was actually used to quilt fabrics to strengthen them, and thereby create warmer clothing.
