The Marmottan Monet Museum and the Grenoble Museum jointly present an exceptional exhibition devoted to landscape art, from 1890 to today. Titled “Histoires de paysages (1890-2026)”, it will be shown in Paris from September 24, 2026 to January 31, 2027, and then in Grenoble from March 5 to July 4, 2027. The 20th century, which opens with a world war, rebinds the link between landscape and history. We had believed in a separation, a triumph of landscape becoming autonomous.
