Born in Malta in 1978, he discovers opera at thirteen thanks to the film Le Grand Caruso, not knowing that he would win the Milan Caruso Competition a few years later. He signs with Decca at twenty-five and establishes himself on the world’s greatest stages. From the Met to Covent Garden, from Vienna to Bastille, he triumphs as Duke of Mantua, Alfredo, Rodolfo, Cavaradossi, Hoffmann or Faust, which he embodies with infectious fervor.
