The Thief of Memories
Show · Saturday, November 21 · 15:00 · Paris
Médiathèque Violette Leduc, 18 rue Faidherbe
Free
In this solo show, Mathilde Morin travels back in time, generation after generation, recounting memories transmitted orally for two centuries. On stage, Morin plays with the memories of the generations that preceded her. With her, in a dazzling whirl of dances and costumes, one is carried through time for more than two centuries. Extraordinary anecdotes, humor and surprises guaranteed: genealogy comes alive and sharing memories makes sense. Everyone leaves with the desire to question their loved ones and to become, in turn, a “story passer” who knows how to cross eras…
