The Disappearance of Josef Mengele | Theater

Théâtre de la Fleuriaye, 30 boulevard Ampère 44470 Carquefou

From 1943 to 1945, Mengele was responsible for the murder of hundreds of thousands of people and horrific medical experiments. In 1949, he arrived in Buenos Aires under a false identity. The chase had already begun. On stage, surrounded by remnants of this Nazi officer, Mikaël Chirinian captivates with the power of the text and the intensity of his acting. Without portraying Mengele, he tells the story with relentless accuracy, reminding us that ordinary men can become monsters. A vital work that confronts us with one of history’s darkest chapters.
