Italian polychoral works

Eleven saxophonists invade the courtyard of the Hôtel de Ville for a closing concert designed around sound spatialization and Italian music. The staging of the concert is inspired by Venetian polychorality: three quartets on the first floor perform Canzonas by Giovanni Gabrieli, surrounding the audience in a triangular arrangement. The musicians then gather for a festive program around Verdi, Rossini, Morricone and Milhaud.
