The COSU celebrates Latin American music, through the works of Christine Audat, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Carlos Chávez or Ariel Ramírez. The music of Latin America carries within it the memory of histories and civilizations that have continually met and transformed. Pre-Columbian, African and European heritages have produced, through processes of mestizaje, syncretism and creolization, a great diversity of musical forms.
