[Les Boréales] Cine-concert "The awakening of the earth" by Markens Grode

Cinéma Le Drakkar, 6 rue du Général de Gaulle

The Awakening of the Earth (Markens grøde) is a Norwegian film directed by Gunnar Sommerfeldt, released in 1921. Stefan Orins and Éric Navet accompany Markens Grøde, a silent Norwegian film from 1921, long thought lost until it was rediscovered in the 2000s. Stefan Orins's music establishes a sensitive dialogue between images and sounds, highlighting the story of a man who came to build a new life in the heart of nature.
