Lovers of singing and gypsy music, OPUS 4 was formed in 1997 in the south of France. OPUS 4 revives treasures of Russian, Romanian, or gypsy folklore, with a few pur jazz inflections, building a clever bridge between the two shores of the Atlantic. Inspired by their Slavic origins, from which one can taste the swing and the joie de vivre, the musicians invite the audience on a voyage into the nomadic heritage of the Roma… a dizzying change of scenery.
