Since its founding in 1934, Studio Harcourt has embodied the elegance, light, and photographic memory of France. On the occasion of the bicentennial of photography, the Studio wishes to present an exceptional exhibition tracing the evolution of French society from 1934 to today, through its iconic portraits and unique iconography. This exhibition, titled ‘The Family Album of French Society’, aims to bring into dialogue nearly a century of images, revealing the diversity, continuity and transformation of the gaze on France and its faces.
