In its first production, Wim Vandekeybus unleashed a true artistic tempest. Accompanied by composers Thierry de Mey and Pierre Vermeersch, he received in 1988 the famous Bessie Award in New York for this 'brutal confrontation of dance and music'. It is not an ordinary performance but a raw physical experience, balanced on the razor's edge between attraction and repulsion.
