Show - A Corner of Paradise - Groupe Grenade
Show · Monday, November 2 · 20:00 · Aix-en-Provence
380 avenue Max Juvénal, Grand Théâtre de Provence
With her Groupe Grenade, Josette Baïz relentlessly goes into the unknown, oscillating between her own choreographies and those of iconic artists, French and international. She now takes on the challenge of conveying to her young dancers the vibrant universe of Paradis, a piece imbued with wonder, surprise and baroque. On a gestural score as inventive as it is delicate, they alternately embrace classical and contemporary dance, African dance, hip-hop and breakdance! A tour de force accomplished, and a beautiful tribute in the shape of a wink…
