Meeting with author Velibor Čolić

84, rue d'Angleterre 35200 Rennes

Facing war, European Dialogues: What underpins the European idea? What threats and what stakes cross the continent today? Which histories bring us closer and which memories divide us? These questions lie at the heart of the third edition of European Dialogues. As part of a residency in partnership with the Rennes theatre company Kali&Co, the library is organizing a meeting with Velibor Čolić, Bosnian author whose latest novel Guerre et pluie (winner of the 2024 Etonnants Voyageurs Prize and the 2024 Victor Rossel Prize) offers a narrative that is at once gripping and poignant.
