Le Roman de Bellac - Fanzine Print party

Théâtre du Cloître, Rue Lafayette

Artists companions of the Cloister since 2025, Theo and Jennifer lead a literary investigation into the sheep culture in Basse-Marche: The Roman of Bellac. As we meet, we build a sensitive cartography where intimate narratives intersect with the history of the territory and agricultural transformations. The sheep acts as a revealer: that of the mutations of the rural world, tensions between transmission and disappearance, between attachment and desire to leave, between memory and invention of new ways of life.
