CHAMELEONS Formed in Manchester in 1981, the Chameleons were quickly brought to light by the legendary BBC Radio host John Peel before releasing three landmark albums: Script of the Bridge (1983), What Does Anything Mean ? Basically ? (1985) and Strange Times (1986) before disbanding in 1987. Known for their guitar-based atmospheric sound and poignant lyrics, the Chameleons are considered one of Manchester's most underrated bands of the 1980s.
