Workshop 'Ton monument' by Marie Aerts at Bonus
Culture · Tuesday, December 22 · 14:00 · Nantes
Collectif Bonus, 39 Rue Félix Thomas 44000 Nantes
During the December holidays, artists from the Collectif Bonus offer original artistic practice workshops. Discover the workshop 'Ton monument', led by Marie Aerts. Why do we build monuments? Based on famous statues and contemporary works, children observe the codes of power: size, height, pedestal, posture, symbols and staging. They imagine their own monument in drawing and color, then build it in three dimensions using clay, cardboard, or wood. An unexpected element will then come to destabilize this apparent power.
