Sara is sixteen when she discovers images of megafires that engulf forests and wound kangaroos. She runs away a year later. What does her act mean? Her mother, her peers, her loves speak of it, trace her quest, and try to understand the traces the adolescent leaves behind in them and in themselves. Sara’s absence is the line of flight of the play. The escaped teenager is told, in fragments and also in music, by means of a sound palette made up of toms, a lithophone and a vibraphone, as well as calls and orchestral timbales.
